We are proud to announce that PRICL 2025 – the Principles of Reinsurance Contract Law – has now been officially published and was formally launched on 3 November 2025 at the historic Lloyd's Old Library in London.

The PRICL were mentioned in the report of the Spanish Working Group on International Arbitration in the Insurance and Reinsurance Sector under the auspices of CIAM (Madrid International arbitration center) and SEAIDA (the Spanish branch of AIDA). The report refers to the PRICL when explaining different practices in reinsurance law. In particular, Art. 1.1.4 was cited to explain the differences between agreed usages and general trade usages, and Art. 2.1.2 with regard to the principle of utmost good faith. On 25 January 2023, the special ATILA Lecture on the Principles of Reinsurance Contract Law (PRICL) was showcased in a hybrid seminar, co-organised by the PRICL Project, European Law Institute and the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT), which hosted the event at its headquarters in Rome.
